American Cancer Society Hope Lodge
Hope Lodge is a “home away from home” for cancer patients at a time when they need it the most.
More than 16,000 Iowans will be diagnosed with cancer in 2007. To reduce the burden cancer patients and their caregivers face when traveling far from home, American Cancer Society Hope Lodge facilities provide free non-medical housing near cancer centers across the country. Hope Lodge provides a comfortable, nurturing environment where patients and caregivers can stay and focus on getting well.
